Shannon Kennedy's editing credits include A Walk into the Sea, which won, amongst other awards, a Teddy Award at the Berlin Film Festival, and The Trials of Daryl Hunt, which won a DuPont Award. She also edited, along with director Kimberly Reed, the critically acclaimed documentary Prodigal Sons. Her latest films include VLAST (POWER), The Canal Street Madam, and The Universal Language.

She was an additional editor on El General, which won the Documentary Directing Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, and Life 2.0, which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
